The Balmain Iyengar Yoga Studio was established in 1980 by Pixie Lillas, a Senior Iyengar Yoga teacher, director and principal teacher at the school.
All the teachers have been trained by Pixie and hold an Iyengar Yoga teaching certificate.
The Balmain Iyengar Yoga Studio offers:
- – Ongoing classes and courses from Beginner to Advanced level
- – Teacher training
- – Retreats, workshops and intensives for experienced students

10 Week beginners course starting July 7th, Tuesdays 7.00pm – 8.15pm. To be held in our new downstairs Studio space. Numbers limited and bookings required.
Simon Joannou will be teaching a weekend retreat in Laggan, NSW for Level I and II students.
Pixie will be conducting a series of weekend workshops for certified teachers who wish to further explore their teaching skills and who may also be planning to upgrade to Junior Intermediate I, II or III.
Pixie will be running a series of special classes concentrating on balancings and backbend sequences for teachers and experienced students wanting to explore some of the poses not taught in regular weekly classes.
Pixie will be taking an intensive retreat in Laggan, NSW for teachers, teacher trainees and, if space permits, experienced students.
